As we continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we wanted to update our clients, friends and the community.
We are in the midst of ongoing tax deadlines and maintaining operations is our top priority, along with the health and safety of our employees, clients and stakeholders. We sincerely hope that you, your families and your team members are staying healthy and taking the necessary precautions to continue to stay healthy.
In terms of ongoing service levels YBM offices remain open and operational in Orange & Molong.
We have taken the following steps to proactively counter the spread of COVID-19:
- Our employees will minimise travel;
- Non-essential client meetings will be held via phone, skype or zoom rather than in person;
- Prepared a contingency plan to ensure a limited disruption to operations in the event any of our other offices need to close. We can quickly expand our access for employees to work remotely if needed;
- The partners of our 3 offices will remain at each location as a precautionary step to ensure management remains in place shall one office be required to close and any partners required to be quarantined;
- The Australian Tax Office have implemented a series of administrative measures to assist taxpayers experiencing difficulty. In addition the Federal Government has announced a COVID-19 stimulus package. We are gathering more details as it pertains to individual clients.
Our team is actively monitoring this rapidly developing situation and modifying plans if needed. Should there be a declaration of a State of Emergency or some type of quarantine we will do everything in our control to ensure that we are still available by phone, email or chat. We are committed to serving you with as little disruption to our services as reasonably possible.
Please know that if you have meetings scheduled with any of our team and you would prefer to speak by phone then that is always an available option.
